As much as I love both characters, I don't exactly like them together. Yes, please shoot me Kilik/Xianghua fans, but I have my reasons; aside all that, here's what I think of this pairing. First off, these two have been traveling together for quite a while, yes? I could see why this pairing is so widely supported - they traveled together, been through alot together, she can somewhat sympathize with his problems, and she jumps on him continously. I believe there was really no romance implied in Soul Calibur (when they were first introduced / met), i'm pretty sure they were more determined for the sword rather than pay attention to eachother. Then, in Soul Calibur II, they had an ending cutscene together and they were seperated for quite a while, and upon seeing eachother again, they both tried to convince eachother it was too dangerous blah blah. I can sort of see what fans like about this pairing, but other than that, I loathe it. Now, in Soul Calibur III, it is plainly obvious this is going to be the romance of the game (or something like it), because Xianghua makes it dead-set obvious that she's head over heels for Kilik! Does he feel the same? Well, in Kilik's ending, if you do press the buttons that are needed, you'll catch her and it'll trigger some sort of moment with the two. Kilik tells Xianghua to stay with him and whatnot, but my theory is, that isn't the correct ending to get. If you don't press those buttons, Maxi will come up and the three will be reunited (which I think is the better ending of the two). I'll explain why this pairing works out (in my view): Kilik seriously needs to lighten up a little (i guess) and Xianghua is probably a good person for that and I think Kilik has a thing for cheerful people, if im not mistaken. Why? Because he lets Xianghua follow him around, that's what! Other than that, I really don't see how this idea works out so well. Sorry fans, i'm just not fond of this pairing, even more now since Xianghua is going all crazy over Kilik :P, I would have liked this pairing better if they didn't spend so much time together. (Messed up, I know!)

Why not, you ask? Simple, Kilik's feeling are unknown and I think it might just stay that way between those two (opinion). Both are good people, but romance between them would just ruin the whole thought of them being strong, independant people. Whereas in a relationship, they're always going to have to be together and rely so much on one another; and the last thing I want is for Xianghua to be running to Kilik screaming "OH NO! KILIK! I'M GOING TO DIE! SAVE ME!" and vice versa. Also, Kilik is dumb, not literally though. He's completely oblivious to anything related to romance, no matter how extreme Xianghua makes her signs, he just won't bother with it! How would this work if he doesn't even understand? In Xianghua's ending, Kilik just has blunt replies and he's not even paying attention to her "I'm interested in someone, I like traveling with you." Doesn't that straight out make it obvious? Xianghua mentions that she wouldn't give up on him, but honestly, I don't think namco is doing a good job of their relationship. I'd like it alot better if they stayed away from eachother to show more of their independance and personality, and how they take things independantly rather than them running all over eachother and showing eachother love. Sorry, relationships aren't as easy as Kilik/Xianghua; which I also think is very mary-sue like. The way it is portrayed is a typical thing you'd see in a movie, girl is cute, guy is hero and BAM! Pairing. I like Jin/Xiaoyu (Tekken) a hell of a lot more than this pairing. Another thing, in Soul Calibur, I don't think romance is the main deal in that series anyway. If anything, Namco would probably just keep this pairing the way it is (God forbid Namco trying to emphasize on this romance further like Talim/Yunsung), since the series isn't so much romance; more of sword fighting and getting that sword of salvation. (If you read all this, then you must be crazy. I can go on and on about how Kilik/Xianghua sucks.)

Let's face it everyone. Soul Calibur x Romance = NO. though, I do have a thing for Siegfried/Xianghua, but I won't go further

By the way, this is my opinion so don't get all offended and don't come at me e-mailing "KILIK XIANGHUA ROCKS BECAUSE -insert reason here-" because that just won't work. It'll just show how dumb the Xianghua/Kilik fandom is. Kthx.
